Winter is such a busy time for us. Trapping, trade shows and designing occupy us every day. This winter has been particularly cold and on furbearers.

Cold weather can be tough on your trapping activities, frozen triggers and the like. You have to keep working your sites. Animals may need to spend more time foraging or to emerge more frequently in daylight hours. Food sources become scarce, which can play quite nicely into a trapper’s hand.

This winter along with a busy trapping season, we were fortunate to join friends and newfound acquaintances at the Dallas Safari Club and Safari Club International Conventions. It was a wonderful opportunity no only to catch up and talk trapping, but to share with you our beautiful luxury fur creations. Our focus on style, function and luxury wild fur was a great hit.

Our Muskrat Fur Headbands are always popular this time of year. Our beautiful headbands double as a scarf. Our Fur Throw Blankets in Sheared Beaver, Natural Beaver and Coyote Fur are exquisite and add the right heirloom quality to your home décor. Our custom Fur Vests in Beaver, Muskrat and Canadian Lynx where in high demand. Our Moosehide Moccasins, a family favourite, are being snapped up. New orders are being crafted as we speak.

We are back in the North enjoying another February of brilliant Saskatchewan blue skies. It’s back to the wilderness, new adventures and exploring. Keep in touch, we look forward to hearing from you all as we enjoy the bounty of our season unfold.
